From the Desk of Steve, Your Campus Minister

Already the streets of Auburn are filling up with new and returning students. It’s an exciting time to welcome you all to campus. For some this is a totally new experience and you are “wide-eyed and bushy tailed” (to borrow an old expression from my dear grandparents). For others who are returning, this semester may be full of hope for better grades and improved relationships. Whatever is in your mind as you begin classes, know that you are loved and we at BCM are here for you in any way you may need us.

This passage from Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus sums up my prayer for you as you begin this Fall Semester journey:

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3.16-19 (NIV)
